Description
Benvolio 100% italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil is cold-pressed from olives harvested exclusively in a single family-owned estate in Apulia, Italy. The olives are picked early and processed on-site within two hours for low acidity and excellent quality. The result is a well-balanced sage green oil, intense and fruity with hints of freshly cut grass, almond and fresh olives leaves with a peppery finish.
Known as the “healthiest fat on earth,” extra virgin olive oil is high in natural antioxidants, contains Vitamin E and K and beneficial fatty acids. It is also high in oleic acid and oleocanthal. Benvolio 1938 Olive Oil is made from coratine olives which are rich in polyphenols. Polyphenols may help prevent blood clots, reduce blood sugar levels, and lower heart disease risk. They may help to promote brain function and improve digestion.
Benvolio 1938 Extra Virgin Olive Oil is an affordable oil, suitable for medium-high heat cooking, ideal for everyday use. Wonderful for sautéing, baking, dipping, blending, drizzling, or for use in salad dressing.
