It is extracted by mechanical pressing from a careful selection of the best Pumpkin seeds from 100% agricultural organic from the best Italian, European and other plantations, depending on the seasonality of the harvest. Product
non-GMO
and Kosher.
Unlike conventional oil, it is obtained by mechanical extraction without the use of solvents, with subsequent filtration (and purification takes place in steam current instead, unlike conventional oils).

PUMPKIN SEED OIL PROPERTIES
Pumpkin seeds are particularly rich in betasterols (substances structurally similar to androgens and estrogens) that help reduce blood cholesterol levels.
They are very rich in water and low in sugar, in fact used as a component to be introduced in diets because it is highly digestible and because it stimulates diuresis.
They also contain carotene, a substance that helps the body produce Vitamin A, which has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
PUMPKIN SEED OIL COOKING USES
Benvolio 1938 Organic Pumpkin Seed Oil has a very intense taste due in part to the strong hint of hazelnut inside. Ideal for flavoring soups, salads, on which it imparts a strong flavor, meat but also for making bruschetta unique.
It is not generally used in cooking, as it tends to lose its nutritional and organoleptic characteristics at high temperatures.
